Founded in 1984, Chaoyang Theatre emerged as a dedicated home for China’s acrobatic heritage at a time when the ancient art form was seeking a contemporary stage. Nestled in Beijing’s central business district, the theatre quickly became a cultural landmark.

The Chaoyang Theatre is located on the east third ring road of Beijing, connected with the Jinguang Building (which has been the highest building in the past 20 years) and CCTV Tower (China Central Television new ad).
